I agree with the above, including being an optimist. I wanted ES and gang out for their self serving ways which I think included holding the reins too tightly in discussions with BP. But we don't know how those discussions (if any) unfolded. We do know they certainly lined their pockets at the expense of the shareholders.

Ronin is here having spent 18 years with Xencor. Many years with experience in MABS and dealing with BP. I don't think he and his gang are here just for AVID. We know that Abbvie was a potential buyer at around 2B prior to our Ph2 blow up. Has the science progressed or gone backwards from that point. IMO it's progressed so I see 2B as a starting point and depending on data it may be higher or lower.

If I was BP I would look strongly at a clean buyout of everything, AVID included. Control the cost of manufacturing your products. As JDM has said with new tax cut and corporate $ coming back onshore we just might get a plus offer.

Shares are being tightly held. We are seeing shorting by MM's and trading groups trying to wrestle shares loose at end of year tax selling. It's an effort to gain shares from long retail and shift it to institutions. Now is the time to not let go. The only way shares will become available is if we see news and sharply increasing share price. At that point long suffering holders will get out with their money and possibly more.

If you have been here for years this is the time to hold on. The games to get your shares will continue. Shut the ticker off and enjoy the holidays with family and friends.

"The games to get your shares will continue" - until they just stop the moment any public validation of the IP presents itself - and due to the players now involved, don't expect a lot of leaks beforehand - other than perhaps the obvious and growing impatience from JW. He knows what he's got - and Jedd's all about treating people and beating the scourge of cancer - not just money and profits.
