As we approach the New Year's I think it's appropriate to discuss what we believe we'll encounter in the upcoming year for OWCP.
It's my belief that at some time in the first quarter we will see results of the Phase 1 Safety Trial, and I don't believe their will be any serious safety concerns. Once this is established, I believe that we may get a commitment to market the cream in the near term in certain countries, and perhaps one or more new collaborations that cover marketing products in various places in the world. I believe the share price will end the quarter in the $1 to $4 range.
In the second quarter I believe we'll see additional trials initiated, or at least IRB's working on those trial protocols. I think we'll see the creme being sold in perhaps a couple countries, and we'll start to gather anecdotal evidence of its efficacy in psoriasis and perhaps other skin diseases. The share price should be in the $2 to $5 range at the end of the quarter.
The third quarter ought to be much like the second except now the initial trial for the sublingual tablet should have occurred, as well as efficacy trial for the cream. With greater anecdotal evidence of the effectiveness of the cream its use and revenue greatly increases. The share price should end the quarter in a range between $3 and $7 as OWCP's market cap grows to between half and a full billion dollars.
In the fourth quarter, if the trials are not completely blinded, we may learn something about them, but that's uncertain without knowing the trial design. Our cream will clearly be seen as extremely effective and should be available in much of the world, sales will be dramatically increasing, as will the partnerships that permit those sales. By the end of the year the price should be in the $5 to $10 range, but it could go higher if a massive up front payment came in for rights to manufacture, distribute and sell all OWCP products throughout the world were established.
