In not so many words it is said/implied.
This was in 2014 - "Since the nano-sized dots emit extraordinarily vivid colours, quantum dot technology is able to enhance the already stunning capabilities of LG’s 4K ULTRA HD In-Plane Switching (IPS) displays. The colour reproduction rate in LG’s IPS panels, which offers high colour accuracy and extra-wide viewing angles, is increased with the addition of the quantum dot film by more than 30 percent compared with conventional LCD/LED TVs." From their PR- http://www.lg.com/uk/press-release/quantum-dot-technology-to-join-lgs-4k-ultra-hd-tv-line-up-in-2015
This is todays - "There’s also the 32-inch 4K 32UK950 (below), the first LG monitor to feature its Nano IPS technology. It uses nanometer-sized particles that are applied to the screen’s LED to absorb excess light wavelengths, thereby enhancing the screen’s colors."
We know they aren't using Nanoco any more, they couldn't deliver so it's one of three now and I doubt Samsung is going to give their dots away when they need them and Nanosys wouldn't be trying to sell themselves if their future looked bright. It's also not Dotz Nano with their Graphene QD's on the ASX exchange http://www.dotznano.com/
Doesn't leave many other suppliers, but I could be wrong!
