I called back at Noon today....

A very nice gal answered and phone at the uWink Bistro. I asked her if they were open yet. She said "no." I explained that I thought they were going to open today. She said that they have had some uncontrolled delays. I asked if she knew when they would be opening. She said it should be in about a week and asked if she could get my name and number. She said I could be put me on a list of people to contact to get a pre-opening taste and experience of the restaurant. (((Oh, let me tell you.... I wish I could have said yes. But, I live in Vegas baby and I work M-F for a living.... I am not just a loaded stock trader that can fly off to California and have lunch for fun... maybe someday.)))

Anyway, I told her if I can make it to California in the next couple of days, I would call back. I did ask if she thought they would open by next weekend. And, she said, "Maybe."

It is getting so exciting. Does anyone live in California that can call to the restaurant and get on the "call list" for the pre-opening experience???

Or, Vegasp.... can you fly over from Vegas??? I can't because I have a real job.

Let me know. I'll try to get you on the list.
