To that end and based on what has happened with this company over the past 24 months (or 24 years), I'm fairly comfortable with the impression I have of the situation. I have heard on multiple occasions from multiple people, including those in Chile, that Juan's stubbornness, or greed, or misguidedness, or whatever had been a complete interference in negotiations and closing deals. And he was not working in the best interest of MDMN shareholders. MDMN NA was just a vehicle for him and Price to execute their fraud.
So again, I'm comfortable with what I've heard and have come to know. Juan may have worked with Maurizio on the business side of things because Maurizio was the only one able to talk to him. The Letts' and Volcan sure didn't want to.
I'm sure Juan has a great family tie with Amparo, after all, that's his daughter. You can be tolerant of your in-laws for the greater good of the family...or the business in this case. Funny you mention his grandchildren, just how often does JJ see his grandchildren nowadays? How about some pictures?
Juan "trying always to do the best for medinah"? Puh-leeeze. I'm sure Les Price still thinks HE was working in the best interests of MDMN as well.
