All life today represents the latest branches on the tree of life. Evolution continues to create mutations upon which natural selection either accepts or denies in future generations. This is all so basic and proveable. Take the developing human fetus, you can see during different developmental stages, the evolution of man - the fetus has gills, webbed feet and hands, a tail, etc.. If this unborn human is in the image of your god, then god's image must include the images of monkeys and fish.

As for JC dying for our sins, didn't I previously mention the obvious? If god is almighty and lives forever, what sacrifice is it to him to die, only to rise again?
