I think I am slowly figuring it out... my first attempt at a conditional order is cancelled though, because "The stop price must be above the current ask for buy stop orders and below the bid for sell stop orders"... So I'm not quite there yet.

I'll defer to the more experienced investors here and welcome any advice, friendly anecdotes, and idle chatter.
