The long and the short of it, Leg, is that I'm both long and short, but ever more trending long as this exciting and disruptive technology picks up steam at what will soon be an exponential rate. I was fortunate to start trading this stock about 5 years ago, in the relatively early Western Lithium days, and, like others here, have made back my stake several times over, now playing with "house money." Back then, auto mfgs. had yet to go on record predicting sales of millions and millions of EVS in the relatively near future, but we connected the dots and hoped they would too. And Mr. Musk, a tremendous visionary, and others like him, had projects like the giant lithium storage battery (powering up to 30,000 homes for an hour, which was recently installed in Southern Australia, only as a gleam in their eyes. Looking back, it's satisfying to see it all coming to pass exactly as we'd hoped, with the best still to come. My lithium holdings now comprise a broad basket of juniors (with LAC as the largest holding of the group, although I see it as more than a junior because of the SQM JV), along with a few cobalt producers/producer wannabes. EVs alone are going to suck up lithium production likes there's no tomorrow in the next 5 - 10 years, not to mention the ever increasing demands of electronics and power storage. That said, and while I certainly concur with your comment, I wouldn't mind doing a little more trading on this still sometimes volatile stock, and other lithium stocks, and will do that from time-to-time, while focusing on the long end game overall.

From your lips ( rather, post) to God's ears re LAC getting into the 20s by summer. I'm right there with you cheering LAC on and, if it does, I'll be thrilled, probably sell off 50% or so and buy a vacation lake home, and then look for the next best entry point and get back in the game. I've done my DD and it's been spot on for once (amazing), so IMHO, barring something out of left field, like govt. interference or natural disaster, etc., LAC is going to be the gift that keeps on giving for years (especially if the Nevada resource can one day be exploited - perhaps the Tesla deal will finally come to pass. Who knows?). It can be a "win-win," with the longs being very happy, while the shorts/traders can make a some nice bucks too. Everyone should do their own DD tailored to their individual needs, of course, but, for me, LAC will once again be a very nice Christmas present. Merry Christmas and profitable trading to all.
