NIO is going after Tesla and BYD... with one huge huge advantage. The NIO ES8 lithium batteries are swap-able.
Owners of the ES8 can charge their car by swapping batteries at power-swap stations in three minutes or recharge with the help of “Power Mobile” service vehicles that travel to motorists. Click here for the Dec 16 announcement from Bloomberg.

Swap-able Lithium batteries for cars... it so simple... so amazingly simple... why didn't Elon Musk (Tesla) or Warren Buffet (BYD) think of this first?
