I definatly think this is the bottom. As benchmark said, they do have some impressive contracts (BlueBird). I also really like their product and think it's really going to catch on like wild fire. I've been following electric vehicles for a long time and think it's a great concept. One thing I’ve always wondered about, when following all the news about electric vehicles is what about the commercial vehicles?
Electric cars are a wonderful concept for several reasons including environment, fuel cost and to lessen our dependence on other, sometimes hostile countries, but what about school buses, semi-trucks, public transportation and the like?
Then I found this company and I also liked the idea that buses that are already in service could be re-fitted to work. So, this means companies didn’t need to go out and buy all new vehicles, like they did with the semis when they switched over to bio-fuel.
I was an over the road truck driver 10 years ago when there was talk that the trucking companies would have to replace all their current fleet with bio-fuel burning tractors. That didn’t break my heart for the major trucking companies that feed off inexperienced drivers but I felt for my friends who were owner operators.
Anyway I think making our commercial vehicles electric is a great idea and I really liked what I saw when I did my homework on this company. So, I snapped some up when they went public and I’ve been averaging down whenever possible.
