If you feel a post has been wrongfully deleted you can request Admin review and restore it. Here are the instructions for that.

FYI Mods don't delete all posts. Anyone can flag a post for a violation. In those cases Admin reviews it and their decision is final. A Mod cannot overrule Admin.
Mods have the right to express their "on topic" opinions just like everyone else. However, they don't have the right to delete "on topic" posts by others simply because they don't like or disagree with them.
