(edit) sgolds, 'megafab' does i.m.o. have nothing to do with having more than one production line (but as always I can be wrong as I'm not an expert).

I think (but am not sure again because of before mentioned reason) that having both SOI Opteron, and bulk XP, out of the same fab doesn't necessarily mean more than one production line. I want to test my presumption that it can be done too using virtually the same single production line by posting it on this board.

Also conversion for future product isn't necessarily done on a full size production line, I think.

Copy exact isn't applicable to AMD as they only have one fab. BTW Intel are unlikely to use copy exact everywhere either; they are likely to use it only for identical products (and they have many different products).
