Some time ago a comparison between XMAS Trees and HEMP

was discussed on this board.

Well 38,000,000+ sold trees in the USA later--did you see the price of trees this year?

Retail from wholesale is generally a 100% markup, so a $45 tree should arrive at $22.50. Back out shipping and it a $20 tree.

6 footers are generally in a 10 year cycle and although the maximum planting saturation is significantly higher, allowing for roads, staging and brush/pruning access, a good number is 900 trees /acre

Taking the land out of the equation, input cost are negligible, stock is $185/1,000, machine planted mostly spray and herbicide costs thereafter, with last year labor (harvest) cost.

So all in, based on those factors and today's prices $18,000-($3,000)

is $15,000 profit or $1,500 per year land yield.

Hemp is about $600.

Little doubt where that takes you.

MERRY -MERRY!!!!!
