Dave I totally agree with the premise of your request. This said, asking for share count from everyone can show the amount of share power behind your request ONLY if EVERYONE is on board with giving up that info.( As a matter of board history this was tried years back with little success.)

In reading the response they are asking for NAMES of those your letter represent.( No mention of share count) It is just my thought here but getting a list of NAMES AND E-MAIL ADDRESSES might be easier to get and IMO more than likely a larger response.

Many reasons that asking for share count is tough some may be timid as to how little they own due to personal finances and on the other side of the scale the large holder just may not want to let that info. out. Then there always is the worry of how truthful the count is.

As a personal point of view. What my holdings are, are not up for the company's review. I certainly am on board with name and e-mail address
