The latest testing focused on moisture content and its relationship with BTU’s. Certain plants need a certain amount of moisture in the coal to process efficiently. They were able to determine and control the moisture content and therefor the increase in BTU at a specific delta of 1% reduction in moisture resulted in a 1.5% increase in BTU.
