NT, with all due respect to you and the others who believe that RSC's sp will be ~ $3 by the end of
2004, I would point out that it is during that year that RSC will be going commercial and interfacing with lots of major-exchange-listed telcos and telecoms. We would be at a severe negotiating disadvantage for us to be on the OTC in such a situation, imo. It therefore behooves us to get on to the NAZ at the earliest moment consistent with an elevated sp. It has been speculated here - and I agree - that RSC is behaving like a NAZ company so as to be more easily accepted by that exchange when conditions, including sp, permits. I can only imagine that this is a goal of prime importance for mgmt to achieve at the earliest moment possible. In order to do this, we will have to see the sp ^ to the $5 range and remain there for some time (?90 days comes to mind, but I'm not sure of that figure). Since commercial negotiations will likely start up in the 1Q of 2004,
I'm looking for efforts by RSC to take actions prior to that time, in the form of PR's, PR firm's activities, Rolling Thunder, and whatever else to beneficially affect the sp up to and over $5. I know that seems unreal when one looks at classic sp modeling but, then again, this is a most unusual set of circumstances, and a lot is riding on our getting the tech out there asap, consistent with good corporate mgmt.
I believe we have to think outside the box to imagine how RSC will act to move themselves forward
with all due care and dispatch. They realize they are in a fast-moving technological environment, and time can be their own worst enemy if they let it slip away from them. Even though they may believe they (we) have the best tech out there, our being superceded is but one (other company's) PR away, and they know it. Hence, my formulation as above. Best of luck to all.
Rob
