This subject was discussed two days ago on this board, and it's far too expensive to extract minute quauntaties of Sc from coal! your flagging a dead horse here, it's cost prohibitive. TODD's post put it best. Next!

This is something that has been known about for quite awhile actually. The concentrations are very low and the amount of coal/ash to process for any sizable amount of Scandium is not feasible. I recently talked with Jim Sims regarding this concern and it is something the Niocorp team are well advised on. Jim would be happy to discuss it and answer any questions concerning this.

I think CleanTeq is the most likely competitor in the Scandium market, but it likely that consumers will have more than one Scandium supplier in their supply chain anyway. JMHO!
