Nobody is stopping the company from executing it's business plan. The question is, do they even have a business plan? Was getting rid of their sales team and watching sales drop by some 80% part of their business plan?

Remember that when someone tries to convince you to buy or sell there is something in it for them. It's not because they are concerned about your investment.
