News Flash! Codelco Nelson Pizarro returns from China fact-finding trip and can't figure out why every Lithium-Pro China man still avoids him like toxic radioactive waste.

Codelco CEO Nelson Pizarro has just experienced an epiphany in that he now (or finally) realizes that the "old timey" brine pool evaporation process is not the most efficient way to mine lithium. Nelson has properly indexed Codelco's $14,000,000,000 worth of debt for 2017 (click here for debt story) into the revised expansion plans for lithium production as a quasi-governmental agency still-barely-sanctioned by the current dead-end regime and figures he would only need 8 more years to get Chile (through Codelco) "into the Lithium game".

Nelson, I got some heart-breaking news to share with you... nearly every competent privately funded lithium company in the world could get Chile "into the Lithium game" within a year or two approximately midway through Pinera's new term as president. You guys at Codelco are like old dinosaurs still hanging on by a thread fighting off your inevitable extinction. Face facts... your dysfunctional dynasty is nearly over and hopefully Sebastian Pinera will be putting obsolete old fogeys like you out of your misery by hammering the last nail into your coffin this coming March 2018.
