mmtc and the OSI connection....... mmtc paid $14,000 for a three year setup on the circuit board used in the mit1000 in late 2008. At that time mmtc bought 9 boards and assembled the machines themselves. In 2011 mmtc bought 5 more boards and announced they were hiring 4 college students to assemble the mit1000. They probably worked one day. I believe each board cost about $900.

Anyone with a business or manufacturing background will tell you that lines readily exist for small orders and large orders. This enables the manufacturer to maintain economies of scale within the plant. Someone telling you different is an idiot and liar.

Below is the AOAC cert document. It states many facts you should consider. The mit1000 is a "kit" manufactured by mmtc. That mmtc created the testing criteria. And the same testing criteria remains on the date of December 31, 2012. In other words, all of the new said improvements given the mit1000 were never incorporated or a lie. The machine remains the same as tested in 2009. In 2010 the USDA stated the mit1000 needed further development for public use.
