Codelco's devious attempt to create monopoly_in_Maricunga_gets_a_kick_in_the_nuts_sack

Through chummy buddy-buddy associations and closed door seemingly innocuous meetings semi-government-blessed Codelco was on its way to securing permission to extract 325,000MT of lithium out of Salar de Maricunga to the exclusion of any other enterprise Click here. And when we herein cite "exclusions" we are are specifically talking about our NewCo JV partner MSB (Martin Borda) often referred to as the "white salt" company in these Goggle/Bing translations. We don't adore or love Codelco, likewise they most certainly do not love us (ie MSB/LPI/Bearing) and they will never love us... because in their eyes we are nothing more than dirty peasant interlopers on their sanctified heavenly lithium bounty even though WE own the top-notch prime most-mineral-rich real estate in Salar de Maricunga. This artificial "exclusion" so vital to Codelco's interim success in Maricunga was quietly reinforced by talking-head rope-a-dope Mining Minister Aurora Williams (on her way out the door soon) on October 26 in her Supreme Decree #64 which I dare say no one with a normal working nose could today get within 10 feet of that stink bomb.

Well today the Chilean Comptroller has set aside that exclusion/decree#64 for further review/revisions

It appears private enterprises Cominor, Simbalik and MSB (aka white salt) are now going to get a shot at receiving a normal/regular CCHEN approval & mining permit also. To say this change/decision by the Chilean Comptroller is huge for MSB/LPI/Bearing is a major understatement. To now be "included" in the next CCHEN & Mining Permit review on equal footing in-tandem-with/against Codelco with the Chilean Comptroller's blessing would be fantastic good news for us and cause for unbridled celebration.
