Business Description
Save Foods Inc., a Delaware corporation, and its wholly-owned Israeli subsidiary, Pimi Agro CleanTech Ltd (together, the “Company”) develop, produce and market environmentally and human-friendly products to prolong shelf life of fruits and vegetables. The Company’s products are developed to significantly reducie residues of synthetic fungicides, widely understood to be carcinogenic and present a danger to humans. The Company’s technology is based on a unique formulation of hydrogen peroxide (“H2O2”) and the protection afforded the Company from its international patent protection, including: (i) 4 patents granted and one pending patent in the USPTO; (ii) 1 patent pending in the EU and 2 pending patents in Israel. This results in products developed utilizing 99.4% local potable water and the 0.6% proprietary solution based upon a stabilized H2O2 and are formulated with other natural ingredients, according to the particular fruit or vegetable upon which they are based. The Company has also developed two EPA approved products: (i) a product used as a pesticide to control citrus diseases; and (ii) another product used for the treatment of potatoes in long periods of storage. The products are currently marketed and sold in California to Sun Pacific, one of the largest citrus producers in the State of California, and to several customers in Israel. Sales to Sun Pacific followed large-scale field tests in coordination with a major big-box retail store with locations worldwide.
