From clinicaltrials.gov the final data was collected in Dec 2017. Not sure how to interpret this but its very possible that the "events" are completed and final data analysis has started. If so, this could get very interesting in the near term. According to my source, the preliminary results were looking good. Also, the timing of the safety committee announcement fits since it may be required as part of the study completion.
