The Grey Market are matched trades by your broker, they can be a combination of several buy/sell orders. The broker generally just looks at what is in house for buy/sell, but they can, if they feel like it, for a fee, call other brokers to see what they have that they could possibly match. There are no MM's involved to make a market. There is also something that brokers may do to help their clients to unload shares they are unable to sell for a tax write-off. Some call it a penny for the lot, where the broker buys the shares for a small token amount so the client can write them off as a loss and the broker just dumps them in a trash account. That is very likely where the .000001 and .00001 trades come from as retail cannot enter orders beyond 4 decimals. These other small trades may be what is left over from trades to bring their clients TECO holdings to zero. Many victims of scams like TECO don't like to have to look at their statements all the time and be reminded of these bad investments they were conned into making. They just won't them gone.

I expose stock scams to gain knowledge about investigating the stock market players and for the entertainment it invariably generates. I've received NO compensation in any form for such, except for a few thank yous...
