Started in Boulder in 1993. 16 stores in Colorado when McDonalds because major investor in 1998. 8 years later, in 2006, McDonalds was divested and Chipotle was over 500 locations.
The model works. Minimal money in their locations, all the money in their staff. Food is prepared from bulk, whole ingredients.
Problem with Chipotle is CEO. Once he is gone, stock will peak at 900 then plateau and slowly degrade over time. It will de-evolve into a typical fast-casual chain i.e. Subway, Firehouse, etc. Heavy subsidized and teaser marketing.
WCVC needs to streamline the concept to have any chance of being on par with Chipotle. As it stands right now, it has upside of being 25-30MM within the next 12 months.
WCVC will be in the 2-2.15 pps area within 12 months.
Massively undervalued company and concept. People who say its empty do not do business in the Denver metro area. Lots of money to be made here.
