At the U.N. climate talks in Bonn, Germany, officials representing nearly 200 nations ended an all-night round of negotiations early Saturday morning. The negotiations were aimed at hammering out the implementation of the 2015 Paris climate deal. This year was the first COP since President Trump vowed to pull the United States out of the landmark 2015 Paris Climate Deal, a process which takes four years. Despite Trump’s vows to withdraw from the deal, a number of progressive U.S. senators, governors and mayors staged an anti-Trump revolt last week in Bonn, proclaiming “We Are Still In.” We spoke with Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto.

Leeann Tweeden, who has accused Sen. Al Franken of sexual harassment, appeared on the Howard Stern show a year later and was caught lying about her resume.

Leeann Tweeden, the former Playboy model, Hooter’s girl and hard-Right talking head who has accused Sen. Al Franken of sexual harassment, was caught lying during an interview on the Howard Stern’s radio show and it was a big one.
Tweeden appeared on the show to promote her semi-nude 2007 photo spread in lad magazine FHM, a year after her USO Tour with Franken in Iraq.
It was a typical, unabashed Stern interview. Tweeden appeared to by totally in touch with, and carefree, about her sexuality.
She talked laughingly about not wearing panties, flashing her butt crack, losing her virginity at 14 and running away with a 30-year-old man when she was 17.

Ironically, Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore has been sharply criticized for soliciting sex from underage teenagers, including molesting a girl when she was 14 and he was 32, casting a shadow over his campaign.
During her statement about Franken’s alleged harassment, Tweeden said she’d been humiliated for years by men.
But she apparently had no problem doing Stern’s frat-boy show or appearing on the “Jerry Springer Show,” known for its low-brow, sexually charged programming. She was on the show to model lingerie and shame wives for not being sexy enough.
She even dressed for the part for Stern.
“Howard’s a man, he likes pretty ladies, so I thought I’d dress sexy for him,” said Tweeden during the show’s intro. She was wearing a tight, midriff-baring tee-shirt that showed off her ample cleavage.
“You’ve got good boobs,” said Stern during the interview. “Are those you’re real boobs?”
“No, actually,” Tweeden replied.
She also laughed off a non-stop stream of lewd comments from Stern’s sidekick Artie Lange.
Among other “revelations,” Tweeden said she once blew-off George Clooney, who was “hovering around” her and her girlfriends at a Los Angeles bar during filming of “Ocean’s 11” in 2010.
The Clooney story seems apocryphal given the fact that he was in a two-year relationship with Italian actress Elisabetta Canalis at the time. They broke up in 2011, and he immediately began dating wrestler Stacy Keibler that summer, according to People.
For what it’s worth, she said she also turned down Derek Jeter during his rookie season with the New York Yankees.
Tweeden wasn’t above telling little white lies.
She claimed she was 5-feet, 7-inches tall, even though her official biography lists her at five-feet, five-inches tall. No big deal, except when you’re a model and height matters.
But then, Stern stumbled on something in her biography that proved to be a whopper. Tweeden said she “turned down going to Harvard to model.”
Stern wasn’t buying it.
“When you say you were going to go, you didn’t get in?” he questioned. “They have a wet tee-shirt department?” he quipped.
“Here’s something I don’t like,” Stern pressed. “It says in your bio you were going to go to Harvard, but you decided to model. “But you didn’t get into Harvard, so you can’t say you were going to go.”
What’s troubling about the exchange is that Tweeden doubled down on the lie, instead of just admitting she faked it. “Well, I could even be accepted now, if I wanted to,” she said.
Tweeden bolstered her claim by saying she graduated high school at 16, but according to her official biography, she graduated from Osbourn Park Senior High School in Prince William County, Va., in 1991 when she was 18 like most other students.
The interview is relevant because it sheds light on Tweeden’s credibility just like Donald Trump’s telling Stern interview caused such a stir during the 2016 presidential campaign.
What’s more, her interview raises even more questions about her sexual assault allegations.
Her accusations against Franken are based solely on her own account, which already has been called into question.
Despite some complaints that Tweeden is being slut-shamed and victim-blamed, critics say her actions appear to be politically motivated, especially since other parts of her story don’t add up.
Tweeden is a protege of hard-right Fox News commentator Sean Hannity, who has been widely accused of advancing specious conspiracy theories and fake news to smear Democrats, particularly Franken and Hillary Clinton.
Both Hannity and Trump operative and GOP dirty trickster Roger Stone revealed that Franken was going to face allegations hours before Tweeden went public.

WASHINGTON—Federal regulators this week are expected to unveil their plans for reversing Obama-era rules that require internet service providers to treat all web traffic equally, a move that could fundamentally reshape the internet economy and consumers’ online experience.
The changes, expected to be adopted at the Federal Communications Commission meeting in mid-December, would open the door to a wide range of new opportunities for internet providers, such as forming alliances with content firms to serve up their webpages or video at higher speeds and quality than those without such deals.
Such “paid prioritization” was explicitly blocked under the 2015 rules, which required internet service providers to keep all corners of the internet equally accessible to consumers, and limited the providers’ ability to favor content, including their own.
The new rules, according to industry officials, are expected to thoroughly dismantle the “open internet” plan adopted by the Obama administration’s FCC. Advocates of the current approach, including consumer groups and big internet companies, argued that such regulation is needed to curb the power of the broadband providers to affect the online environment through their control over the pipes.
Proponents of reversing them, including current FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, say hard-and-fast rules can stifle investment and innovation in a fast-moving industry. Internet service providers worried the Obama administration rules could open the door to eventual rate regulation and other heavy-handed oversight. They also viewed the rules as a solution in search of a problem, given the internet’s relative openness historically.
Mr. Pai began the process of reversing the 2015 rules earlier this year.
If the rollback survives likely legal challenges, it has the potential to reorder the online business environment. It could give internet providers such as AT&T Inc., Comcast Corp., Charter Communications Inc. and Verizon Communications Inc. more flexibility to use bundles of services and creative pricing to make their favored content more attractive to consumers.
These companies generally profess support for basic principles of “net neutrality,” such as not blocking content or throttling its delivery. But with the Obama-era bright-line rules widely expected to be eliminated, many experts predict the industry will experiment with new services. The big internet providers either declined to comment or didn’t respond over the weekend.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Justice will file a lawsuit later on Monday to block AT&T Inc’s <T.N> $85.4 billion acquisition of Time Warner Inc <TWX.N>, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Monday.
The legal challenge was expected after AT&T rejected a demand by the Justice Department earlier this month to divest its DirecTV unit or Time Warner’s Turner Broadcasting - which contains news network CNN - in order to win antitrust approval.
AT&T’s chief executive said then that he would defend the deal in court to win approval if necessary.
The No. 2 U.S. wireless carrier struck a deal in October 2016 to buy Time Warner, which also owns the premium channel HBO and movie studio Warner Bros, in order to compete with emerging technology companies by bundling video entertainment on its mobile service.
The deal instantly became a political lightning rod. Donald Trump, a frequent critic of CNN, attacked the deal on the campaign trail last year, vowing that as president his Justice Departmentwould block it.
The deal is opposed by an array of consumer groups and smaller television networks on the grounds that it would give AT&T too much power over the content it would distribute to its wireless customers.
