Yes i did listen to the GE presentation, but was in my shop glazing windows, so only listened to audio and did not follow the slides. I will get a link by email which I will post. Learned somethings but most of discussions where on electron beam AM. Two of us asked general questions about in-process monitoring, nothing really new in the answers other than people are working on it. GE does have CT scan/electron beam people that are looking at the electron scatter that occurs during printing and what they may be able learn from that in-process.

Most interesting GE comment was about how no two AM printers produce identical parts due to variation in the machines. He called them all individual prototype machines and that the industry is working hard to figure out how to build "production" machines that can print identical parts.
