I agree in part. Let me refine.

Kurt is good when his back is to the wall as is the case with a lot of scam artists. When he has some leeway he is comfortable but when that stops he needs to be creative to survive so to speak, that is the chance I see.

He did after all set up the pseudo company to get in the position to run his game. He just sucks at being a success he is only qualified to scam. Sometimes I would bet he believes he is able to be a CEO but then reality comes into play and he has to revert to the only thing he is good at.
