The Business Advocate is an Ohio company. Perhaps they had a plan of setting up another one in Belize but didn't need it.

How do you know which one owns a part of TRW?

Dan is/was President of The Business Advocate. Doesn't mean he owns stock. It's a venture capitalist firm so they may very well be a MF partner. So what? Still doesn't mean there is a (potential) conflict of interest.
