I can't imagine someone at TD saying that 'No reason will be given". Next time you get any call from "TD" (supposedly, because I am suspicious that some 'crooked' broker at TD may be pulling this trick on you to get you to agree to sell the CTs to cover for some ScumBag Hedgie or other Short-seller who is in deep dodo), please activate the 'record' feature on your smart phone and record the whole conversation. Then you can proceed to contact a Manager of Customer Service at TD and bring it to their attention and tell them you intend to sue them if they do not investigate about the Call and report back to you what they found. If they can't provide any reasonable explanation, you can sue TD Ameritrade for the following various Frauds:

1. Mail Fraud.
2. Internet Fraud
3. Securities Fraud (Trying to steal potential profits for your Stock Holdings, Securities in fact that TD 'Swore' to you in their 'contract' with you when you opened your Account with them to 'protect' up to a total value of up to $25MM of Securities holdings, per SIPA Regulations and the underlying securities Laws).
