My thoughts: PMCB and Austrinova are in the business of providing the best encapsulation technology available. Once CIAB is proven to work in the upcoming LAPC clinical trial, they will license their technology.

Let the licensee deal with all the other drama of developing and growing cell lines.

We’ll be waiting to be summoned to encapsulate whatever new advances come forward.

I think it’s a brilliant maneuver.

I also think that CIAB will shine in the clinic.
