It would seem Ekso's military contributions are largely finished (at least it's unclear they have any active contracts). It's hard to tell since exact timelines aren't given on some of the project announcements, but the last time TALOS was mentioned it was MkIII, now TALOS is MkV. We can't tell whether they are simply done with their role and still a valuable part of the project, or whether their helpfulness faded away as the project developed. That being said, I would suppose it was the former based on DARPA starting to contract Ekso with Warrior Web.

The Warrior Web Task B contract was to last 18 months, which was announced in Feb, 2016. It's not clear however, that their contractual work on that began immediately after the announcement, perhaps their contract dates occurred after the the contract was signed and released to the press. So It's plausible their Warrior Web involvement is still ongoing. If not, it's likely very recently finished.

Now we have to see whether Ekso announces any more military related contracts. I think this occurrence is practically the make or break for Ekso.

Ekso does seem to be making important technology improvements based on their work on these military contracts.

For example:

In this patent, Ekso talks a lot about pulleys and a "plurality of pulleys" which is something none of their previously released exoskeletons have had to my knowledge. Instead, I suppose the pulley system is related to Warrior Web technology. I think this is somewhat clear from watching early demonstrations of Warrior Web:

This is a big deal because The goal of Warrior Web Task B, says DARPA, will be to integrate “multiple mature component technologies [from Warrior Web Task A] into a system potentially wearable by 90 percent of the U.S. Army population, both male and female.”
