How come we didn't see this article?

http://www.biofuelsdigest.com/bdigest/2016/05/04/takin-cellulosic-to-the-mud-spa/

We saw all the others that came out around this time, especially from same magazine. Would have been about the same time in 2016 that he was doing the awesome work with Harvesting Technologies he gushes about.
Try googling Alliance Bioenergy and Harvesting Technologies together and see what comes up.... nothing from Harvesting Tech's point of view, but I mentioned that already.

Probably didn't see this article pushed by CEO because he didn't like the outcome at the end (see "the Economics" section and "Digest's Outake").

Also notice that the inventor...Dr. Blair, et al, says that the mechanochemical process MAY also hydrolize hemicellulose and lignin...(see attacking hemicellulose & lignin" section). He's not wrong, I am sure the lab result show some breakdown, but not the way CEO leads you to believe. Hydrolyzing the biomass releases the sugars. The more complete and effective, the more sugars, but you have to break down that lignin which is very difficult and not economical. Why did he say "may"? CEO says it will!...big difference, but inventor viewpoint is consistent with what I have been stating all along...that there is no cheap, viable economical way to separate lignin out at the commercial level, regardless what CEO says. Also, no claims by the "inventor", ever, how long it takes to do this, but the graphs from the patent tells you.
I know there are those that are internal to ALLM on here, yet none have refuted what I say. You can not have maximized hydrolyzation of lignocellulosic material (which is what they would use at the Florida plant)in minutes, which is what you need to back up CEO claims of 5 cent sugars and dollar a gallon ethanol. Impossible. Even this article says it is not sustainable, let alone at those nameplate numbers. The tests and graphs cited in the patent are using HAY not trees and shrubs, which are harder because they have more lignin, Thus take much longer to process. The real reason ALLM is pushing this is the 6 million dollar figure amoratized over 15 years. They're hoping someone will bite without doing their homework, but they must have as they haven't sold a single license to date.

If you are up for some good reading, check out KIOR and EdenIQ, especially KIOR. KIOR gives you insight on the internal political troubles ALLM would be facing if they ever got that far. Also, KIOR went about it the right way; lab, then pilot, the demonstration plant, then commercial. Intent is to make sure it works at each level of scale up. ALLM is not doing this and is a recipe for disaster. Why did they let the most important man go at the most critical time? You don't let your best talent go if your are close to buying a plant...unless...

BTW, I googled Bakersfield plant and Alliance and Earth's Renewable Energy...still nothing. That was over a year ago.

I will share with you something special in my next post...the best of all and most damning.
