Smells like the old Flintstones vitamins. It smells like iron. That's a positive in my opinion. Medicinal vibe to it.

The taste is fine. Not sure one should expect something "delicious" from a quasi-medicinal product.

Not dehydrated when I took a couple swigs so I can't comment on efficacy of product.
