Speaking of Congo, research Glencore xstrata. Look at all of the atrocities committed by then internationally. The list is long. Like I said, if we’re going to F up our lakes and rivers, why let some Corp from the EU reap the benefits? Where’s the economic stimulation? 400 jobs? Pssh, that’s not shit in the big picture when billions will be sent overseas to shareholders. When it’s all over, polymet will bankrupt and the taxpayers will fund all the additional cleanup since there’s no way to determine what a 500+ year cleanup will cost. By that point the follows will probably be replaced by some type of crypto currency. Anything that expects to take 500+ years to remedy probably needs to be reconsidered.
