It makes no sense. I’m invested in a restaurant concept that now has 8 locations in 4yrs. Each one costs about $1.4M to open. Each location offers a private placement to open. 1 unit (1% stake) usually goes for $15k-$17k and for that you get a quarterly dividend based on profit. I average $1.4-$2k dividend per unit per location or 50%-62% return per year.
I figured Parsi would be able to do something similar - I was wrong.
