no one can sell on the open market but they can sell it to an individual. One call call their brokerage and have them transfer their shares to my account in exchange for a couple bucks rather than just telling the brokerage to write it off for taxes and receive nothing. The company needs money to clean their filings is what I am getting. Who will put up the money?
