Good morning folks and i thought if you had a moment id like to talk to you. What i want to say this morning is from my experience in this life that each of us is living in the here and now...and the reality of our human life here on planet earth. We all know that God loves us. We all know that God really does want the very best for us...and we often talk about keeping our complete faith and trust in Jesus. And...thats all fine and well because that is what the believer life is all about...Right? But friends...we also know that life can be the furthest thing from a walk in the proverbial rose garden. And by that i mean...sometimes life can be anything from not so good to down right rough to even tragic! Yes, even as a born-again believer we are all going to have seasons when things are going to hit the fan in some way. Maybe our health or a family members health deteriorates. Maybe a job loss and finances run thin to the point of not being able to make ends meet. Sometimes it can be a struggle with some sort of sin that keeps rearing its ugly head in our life. Or...maybe something from the past haunts a person in ways that just wont seem to go away. So many things that can make us sad...lonely...depressed...frustrated...angry! Things that makes us cry when we are alone and so desperate for a change that one just wants to throw their hands up and scream i just cant do it anymore! Do you know what im saying? Sure you do...its called the reality of life! But let me also say this. Jesus knows our heart and our mind completely. We have to remember that the 33 years that Jesus walked this earth...yes...He was still God....but....He did so in a human body so that He could experience all these same things that we experience plus remember at one point when Jesus hung nailed to the cross and he bore the sins of the world upon Himself! In that moment all the sin and emotions and feelings of the world...past, present and future came upon Him...Jesus experienced in His heart, mind and soul...everything that humans past and future have ever felt or done as He paid our sin debt totally! We cant know what a tragic moment in time that was for Him! So yes, Jesus does know what we are going through. So i say to you this morning. Its Ok to feel the way you do...its called being a human. We havent got our perfect hearts and minds and bodies yet so its all understood by Jesus what we are going through. And even though the not so good or the bad stuff stays with us for a period of time sometimes...or may never leave us while on this earth...we can trust God to see us through and sustain and give us what we need to endure even if misfortune walks with us all the way to the grave. When we walk with faith and trust in Jesus....Its ok to be human!
