MGXMF Reports New High Temperature Filtration to Extract Lithium from Geothermal Brine

MGX Minerals (CSE: XMG) (FKT: 1MG) (OTCQB: MGXMF) this morning reported that its engineering partner, PurLucid Treatment Solutions Inc., has developed a new process of high-temperature filtration for the purification of geothermal brines and associated extraction of metals and minerals including lithium. The new technology is also an environmentally friendly alternative for geothermal brine disposition. The companies are conducting engineering studies to construct treatment systems capable of being integrated into present geothermal infrastructure or integrated as separate systems for mineral and metals extraction. “Our newest technological advancement offers yet another first-mover opportunity into a large and often stagnant sector hungry for new ideas,” MGX president and CEO Jared Lazerson stated in the news release.
