Well, let’s say Apple ended up paying .30 average for 65 million shares because, obviously it would run up. That’s about 19.5 million dollars.

Then let’s say they don’t do that and end of paying 5$ a share in a buyout. Those same 65 million shares now cost them 325 million dollars.



Also would let them hedge against losing big this fight, which is now more possible.
