Supply and demand in cancer treatment isnt like that for hamburgers. You are granted a monopoly by the govt for a period of time for a new treatment. Yes, you get rich pricing, but remember what happened to scummbagg Martin Skreli when he jacked up prices 600%. The govt busted his balls and send him to jail. The pricing is set by negotiation, not the market.

Look no one would be more happy if we could get insurers to pay $100k, $1 million, $100 million per treatment. I just dont think it is realistic to expect it to happen.

I'll stick to $20K, hope for $50K. If we get lots more, well goody for that. But even if we get that in USA, dont expect govt health providers in other countries to pay that much. They will have no qualms about forcing pricing down. Especially if the Indian and Taiwan deals ever bear fruit.

They will know that the cost to produce is virtually nil, and that even at $20K-$50K, the gross margins would be over 90%
