$300 million per year? Really? That's nuts. Over 12,000 women will be diagnosed with cervical cancer this year in the US alone. Figure $100k per person treatment, and you're already at 1.2 billion. When you expand to the entire world, the figure jumps to 527,000 new cases every year (see p. 24 of report).

So, even if you assumed that only 25% of the cases were treated, and that the average treatment cost was $50,000, that comes to $6.5 BILLION.

I have no idea whatsoever where you're coming up with the $300m figure, but I know that is NOT fact/epidemiology based.
