The reality here is that most of the preferred shares are held by people who aren't interested in trading them at these prices.

Perry, Paulson, Berkowitz.

Confidence. No massive liquidations. Closing a fund and holding the line, for over a year now in Perry's case (I think, not sure if it has been over a year).
