Re Goldman's call: I am not competent to say it is/not valid. But I will say that the low in early 2016 was very important as a 7yr low and reference point for drawing channels. A TL with slope of ma of length 7.0/4 yrs will be the significant and valid boundary, and when violated will signal that mkt has died and that we are headed to the next 7yr low due in 2023. Current TL value is approx 2235, a long ways from here. So they could be right....
