Sean sumthin, and James MacStravic, each briefly (very briefly) filling the temporary slot position were both fully credentialed, career officers. Sean sumthing has a shot for Secretary of the Navy, MacStravic in new US Navy ship design guy.

Ellen M. Lord, currently, not so much.
