"Merger" is the only way for these Greek companies to profit more. They all have financially problems "huge here". Merger allows them to cut COST and form a stronger company to operate more efficiently. But they are all greedy for themselves to operate individually. They rather suck money out of investors to grow more equity to buy more ships.
Yes the shipping rate has been better, but these companies still loosing money such as Dcix last earning report.
As of now these companies exist for 1 thing "money" . The question is how long will these companies will take responsibility for their actions and return profit to investors?
