I don't really care. That's something management has to deal with. All I'm interested in is profits.
So if they can do 150,000kg/ha as they claim, for advanced ODRAS, then that is very impressive. Or perhaps this is a theoretical number too. But the profits have to come from somehere... They are not coming from AF4. And only to a certain degree from AF1 and AF2 at the moment. So they must be doing something right (with ODRAS). Hopefully we will get the numbers from TRW soon.
And we will win twice, because if AF3 is doing well, then CA will do well too with ODRAS abroad.
We have to be careful. Freshwater prawns seems to be a longer term approach. We might be better off rotating pearl grouper at AF4. If... it is a success and they have a big supply. Why struggle with freshwater prawns at AF4 next year when you can get a guaranteed 80kg/m3 from other high valued species? We could even restart the sleepy cod program for AF4.
