The other thing it has going for it is a force that wants it out of business so they can profit from shorting it. Hence the quiet as to plans/relationships.

I'm open to other explanations for why Bristol Farms employees were harassed to the point that the deal was postponed.

It's just pancakes in a can occupying a small spot in the refrigerated section. What can anyone find objectionable about that? Buy it or don't.

And yet Bristol Farms was bombarded to thwart the retail rollout.

If NHMD was a scam the Bristol Farms premier would obviously unravel on it's own, no need for external influence.
