The connection to INSY's accursed liquid fentanyl administered as an exquisitely titred gaseous mist that relieves extreme pain such as that of dying cancer suffering their final agonies for which there is no adequate substitute is obvious.

The article concentrates superficially on AMGN's research though others are involved and some have given up because of the difficulty of developing a solution.

Some day hopefully opioids will be as obsolete as trickle down economics should be but the ability of legislators and other mythologists such as drug warriors and moralists to defeat reason, commonsense and experience is phenominal.

In the meantime even as INSY transforms itself into a whole new corporation primarily looking for a place at the head of the table fighting disease and pain with both psychoactive and non-mind bending synthetic cannabinoids, its - ready for this? - Subsys sales are increasing.

Druggies smoke, eat, snort and inject their beloved chemicals that are destroying them. They don't mist them under the tongue last I heard.
