You're probably very right, but I believe that they'll give top line information, just as they did with the preclinical results with the cream.
All we honestly need to know is that either the safety trial revealed no issues that would restrict the use of the cream at all, or that some limitation need to be placed on the use of the cream, like not more than once or twice a day.
I use a drug called clobetasole on a skin condition I have, but I know it's also used as a topical cream for psoriasis. In my case, because it's a steroid that could thin my skin, my Dr. has said not to use it more than once a day, and ideally less than that. Such a restriction may not apply to psoriasis patients, I don't know, but this drug is only available by prescription, so how to use it is up to the prescribing Dr.
In that our cream when used as a cosmetic won't be Dr. prescribed, it should have a label that recommends how often it may be used if the safety trial indicates any restriction exists. Otherwise I would think that patients could use it as they deem it necessary.
